Souq al-Majaz (MAK_03)

Souq al-Majaz, located near Jabal Arafat, was a key market for fairs during the pre-Islamic era, especially along the Summer-Winter Caravans route. It was the last stop for pilgrims before entering Makkah's sacred area. The Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) visited these fairs before the Hijra, preaching Islam and meeting various tribes. Notably, Abu Lahab opposed the Prophet (ï·º) at Souq al-Majaz while he invited people to Islam.
